Joshua is currently a junior at Dominican International School. Through his past experiences participating in Model United Nations conferences and the World Scholar's Cup, and helping in various school organizations and groups such as the Yearbook Committee, he wishes to bring his communication and design skills to hopefully make this year's TEDx event another memorable one.

"I'm 17" by Kate Simonds
"I'm 17" by Kate Simonds is my favorite TED talk as it is highly relevant in the society we live in today. Kate dwells on the issue of teens and younger people being seen as inferior, bringing up various anecdotal examples such as how she and her friend were criticized for standing up for their beliefs. She concludes by bringing up the notion of a society where everyone listens and holds one another accountable.
