Jacklyn is a senior at Dominican International school. She’s in the school’s basketball team, D’Torch orchestra, and “she’ the first” team. She has recently joined TedxDominican International school after being inspired by many TEDx talks. By joining TedxDIS, she hopes to spread these meaning messages to everyone and help more people get inspired. Her goal is to contribute to the next TedxDIS event and to get many people to listen to TEDx talks.

"Life as a YouTuber" by Tiffany Chen
This talk is so inspiring. Tiffany talks about her youtube journey, from an ordinary girl to a famous YouTuber. I love how real she is in this talk. Unlike other Social media influencers, Tiffany doesn’t have that “perfect body”, but she has succeeded and reached her goal in her own way. She openly talks about her insecurity and shared tips with people like her. Tiffany is not afraid of showing her insecurities, in fact, that is what caught everyone’s attention. She talks about how an ordinary girl like her can become who she is today, it means that we all can. She says that we don’t have to be like everyone else in order to succeed; being yourself is the key to success. She encourages us not to be afraid to be different from others. She tells us to keep doing the things we like in our own way and it will eventually get closer and closer to us. And in the journey, there will always be voices that we don’t like to hear, because there will always be someone who doesn’t like you. But in the end, it will all be worth it. Tiffany’s speech has really inspired me.
